a) Attendance, Readings and Participation: You are required to attend the lectures and have an attendance record of at least 80%. The main part of this lecture is experiential learning. In each class, you are required to work for a group project that should be completed in 30 to 40 minutes. Each group consists of 5 to 6 students. After the group project, you are required to review the group process and identify important factors that account for group performance. Then, your learning is shared across team members and the whole class. Thus, active participation in a group project in each class is strongly encouraged. b) Oral examination: At the end of the course you are required to present one paper on international marketing observed in Japan by foreign firms. For your presentation you will critically analyse and summarize at least one aspect of international marketing of a foreign firm in Japan. You will prepare a one page handout with bullet points, A4 single spaced, and make copies for all students. Your presentation time will be limited to 15 minutes.
