Introduction to Japanese Law
2単位/Unit  秋学期/Fall  今出川/Imadegawa  講義/Lecture

  高橋 宏司

<概要/Course Content Summary>

Japanese law, like any other legal systems, covers a vast ground and cannot be comprehensively taught in a single course. While there are various ways of introducing a legal system, this course will concentrate on the topics of particular relevance or interest to the students of international background. Bringing into focus the international dimensions of Japanese law, it will provide useful pointers to consider various legal issues which the students may at present or in the future encounter as they lead their family and working life in Japan. Materials will be drawn from such fields as nationality, human rights, family, contract, the protection of consumers and employees and the reparation for wrongs.
