<概要/Course Content Summary>

The aim of this course is to give a general understanding of some emerging issues in business and economics. At first, the focus will be some theories and practices of business management. Topics include Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Creating Shared Value (CSV), Corporate Sustainability, Climate Change and Sustainability Management, Gerontology Management, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Entrepreneurship and Loyalty Marketing. Later the course broadens its scope by introducing the concepts and theories of economics. Students will examine the issues of, but not limited to Economic Growth and Unemployment.

<到達目標/Goals,Aims>

This hands-on course focuses on real aspects of strategic management and economics. 
At the end of this course the student will be able to: 
1) Understand some of the recent developments in business and economics. 
2) Recognize the relationship among Business, Government, and Society. 
3) Comprehend the concept of business ethics, CSR and CSV. 
4) Analyze social issues from the perspective of economics.
