<概要/Course Content Summary> This course focuses on the relationship between language acquisition and identity construction under the assumption that identity construction in the target community is an important aspect of language acquisition. The course covers theories on identity construction, first language acquisition, second language acquisition, community of practice, and situated learning. The students are expected to become able to apply the theories to their own language learning, and deepen their insights regarding theories of language acquisition.
