<概要/Course Content Summary> This course introduces students to major international environmental issues and provides conceptual tools for understanding the politics of the global environment. By examining the actors, interests, and institutions related to global environmental politics, we will explore a variety of questions such as: Who can solve global environmental problems? Why is it so difficult to develop effective international institutions to protect the environment? How are environmental issues related to globalization and other forces? <到達目標/Goals,Aims> This course has two main goals. First, I want to introduce the major concepts, theories, and topics in the study of international environmental politics. Second, the course aims to increase understanding of current international environmental issues and to encourage analytical thinking. <授業計画/Schedule>
