<概要/Course Content Summary> This class aims to further enhance students’ business communication skills gained from those in Business English 1 by adding management decisions to be made in an online business simulation game. In addition to improving communication skills in English, students will also learn how to interact with people from other cultures in order to resolve business conflicts through the use of appropriate expressions and body language. Students will also gain an understanding and knowledge of the economics, finance, and politics for conducting successful business negotiations and social talks in teams. <到達目標/Goals,Aims> Through this course, students will be able to (a) address more complex business themes and content, (b) apply critical thinking in decisions making tasks while considering options, (c) conduct negotiations, case studies, and roles plays in the area of international markets and competition, and (d) analyze business information and financial data to make suggestions and recommendations and discuss innovative ideas for managing marketing, advertising, and human resources decisions in a business simulation game. Vocabulary required for everyday work practices and related to business concepts will be also be learned. <授業計画/Schedule>
