＜概要/Course Content Summary＞

本演習では，アメリカ史およびアメリカの宗教現代政治と社会問題などに関するテーマについて，研究論文作成のための準備を行う。各自の研究テーマに合わせて，研究方法や論文作法について，研究指導を行う

＜到達目標/Goals,Aims＞

The aim is to have a basic understanding of how to craft an argument， how to write a paragraph， assemble evidence and finish a Master's thesis.

＜成績評価基準/Evaluation Criteria＞

平常点(出席，クラス参加，グループ作業の成果等)	80%	Class participation is the essential feature of this class.
クラスで発表など	20%	Students will present periodic progress reports based upon updated research findings.

Students will be assessed based on their performance of assigned tasks and on their contributions to class discussion.
