<概要/Course Content Summary>

The seminar will focus on socio-cultural aspects of how to reconstruct post-conflict societies. Each seminar has two parts. The first part will be a lecture by the professor and the second one will be a discussion session. Students are expected to make presentations based on their research topic. How to write a research paper will be also taught with practices.

Students will be able to conceptualize how to write a research paper as well as how to conduct academic research, and analyze the source they collect.

<成績評価基準/Evaluation Criteria>

平常点(出席,クラス参加,グループ作業の成果等)  50%  The level of the assigned task and of the presentation of the result of the task will be considered.  
クラスで発表など  30%  Class discussions and presentations based on one's own research topic will be evaluated.  
クラスへの貢献度  20%  Classroom discussions will be encouraged and highly evaluated.
