<概要/Course Content Summary>

The course introduces basic theories of international relations and international development from a gender perspective, stressing the importance of the concept of gender in analyzing existing international development policies. It will explore the intersection and interrelationships of gender, development and security, and the consequences of gender inequality in international development policies and practices.

Students will gain basic knowledge about theories of gender studies, international relations, and international development in conducting research on the issues about development.
