＜概要/Course Content Summary＞

Students are requested to attend training at Japanese companies or other public/private organizations for a certain period as interns to participate in project teams for joint research and development or to undergo on-the-job training， in which his or her specialty is put into practical use. This internship provides students with an opportunity to acquire on-the-job experience. The internship term is generally around three weeks and preferably be during the summer vacation.

Students understands how the knowledge and technology acquired in the lecutres of this course are put into practice in the industry or research activity.

（実施回/ Week）   （内容/ Contents） Students will select the company or organization which they will join by consulting with his or her supervisor. Internship should prefereably be undertaken duing summer vacation. After the internships， the students have to submit reports on their research/internship activity. Theses will be used to determine whether or not the student earn credits. Report may accompany presentation by the students.  （授業時間外の学習/ Assignments） Preparation and review of the contents
