<概要/Course Content Summary> This course addresses Microgrid Dynamics and Control, as a new advanced lecture in science and technology. Microgrids are an ideal way to intelligently integrate renewable resources, enable customer participation in the electricity enterprise, add reliability, bring diversification of energy sources, and reduce carbon emissions and costs. They form the building blocks of the modern, smart power grid. This course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical foundation for understanding of Microgrids. Different aspects of these small-scale power grids, current challenges and research directions will be examined in detail. <到達目標/Goals,Aims> The topics given in this course covers the most important issues in microgrid operation, dynamics and control. After successful completion of this course, the students will learn the fundamentals of microgrids, relevant topics, as well as some methodologies for microgrid analysis and synthesis. They will be able to conduct a new research in microgrids, and will complete and present a research project in one of given main subjects in the contents. <授業計画/Schedule>
