<概要/Course Content Summary>
本講義は英語で行われます。 This course will be conducted in English. "Innovation" is the most important activity for any firms which hope their sustainable growth in the drastic change of markets. However,most innovations fail. It is true,yet and therefore,companies must not stop the innovation. Stopping innovation let them die. Managing innovation thus constitutes one of the most difficult and critical tasks in management. Innovation is important not only for high tech businesses like Internet or Bio-chemistry but also for any businesses. The goal of the course is to identify the factors of success and failure in the attempts of innovation,and to understand how companies can obtain and improve their innovation capabilities. In this course,the success and failure of innovation are discussed based on a "so-called" resource-based view of the firm.
