<概要/Course Content Summary>

As the class title suggests, this subject aims to determine what globalisation is all about. The word means so many different things to so many different people. That in itself is not a bad thing. Nonetheless, we still need to explore and try to identify what makes really the global economy global. We all live in the global jungle now. What kind of a place is this. What are its rules. What are its dos and don'ts. The global mystery is out there for us to resolve. Inserted throughout the class will be "Feeling the wind" sessions where the especially topical issues of the moment will be discussed.We will also discuss "deglobalisation" which seems increasingly to be becoming a "global"concern.

<到達目標/Goals,Aims>

Students will learn to question everything. Good questions are the key to good discoveries. Through the questioning process they will develop the skills needed to really understand the knowledge that they acquire.
