<概要/Course Content Summary>
There is a growing awareness for the need to look outside the box and identify ways through which business can solve pressing problems of our society and environmental. This has been and will be the center for economically, socially, and environmentally orientated strategy and strategy formulation and execution within our contemporary business area and in the foreseeable future. Business and Society in the Global Context is meant to help equip students with a critical and analytical perspective on business-society-environment interactions within the context of sustainability and current UN backed SDGs. Student are expected to learn how business can create value to meet their stakeholders needs while not only remaining ethical, but also integrating sustainability efforts. Some of the primary objectives are: 1) enable students understand, the nexus between economic, social and environmental issues, 2) helps students to learn how to create strategies addressing a shared value among overall stakeholders, 3) conduct of deep stakeholder analysis taking a holistic approach to sustainability. By successfully completing this course students will be able to: 1) will be able to advance your skills to analyze complex,unstructured,qualitative,and quantitative problems, 2) will advance their skills in presenting issues and facilitating discussions based on their research findings and 3) students will expand their business perspectives to encompass socially oriented issues.
