<概要/Course Content Summary> The continued goal of this class is to understand William Wordsworth's profound importance in the English poetical tradition, and why he is considered the central Romantic poet. His influence on later writers has been enormous, suggesting that they saw in him something quite new and different, and we will attempt to understand what this was. The second semester looks at Wordsworth's career after 1800. <到達目標/Goals,Aims> High level research skills appropriate to doctoral level research.
