＜概要/Course Content Summary＞

This course，an alternative to the regular Oral Communication class，will be a challenging，high level English class for the confident Doshisha student with good listening skills and the ability to follow native-speaker language. The emphasis will be on listening to academic English and taking part in group discussion.

Laurie Frazier , Lecture Ready 3 : Strategies for Academic Listening， Note-taking， and Discussion , 2nd Edition . (Oxford University Press, 2013) . This is the same textbook as that used in the first semester.
