<概要/Course Content Summary>

Electronics is utilized in all research fields, but not understood as theory based upon precise discipline. The course introduces the most recent electronics technology, while it offers students work on designing basic circuits that are useful for their future research activities. The course is open to all graduate course students of International Science and Technology Course offered jointly by Graduate School of Engineering and Graduate School of Life and Medical Sciences of Doshisha University. All students who major in Electrical and Electronic Engineering course are required to take the credits of this course.

<到達目標/Goals,Aims>

Students learn how contemporary electronics systems are utilized in the society. They will be able to design simple electronic equipment based on most advanced technologies in the related fields.

<成績評価基準/Evaluation Criteria>

Homework  40%  Submit a small report every week. 
Midterm report  30%  Design a small electronic circuit for light detection. 
Final term report  30%  Summarize a research proposal based on the advanced electronics technologies introduced in the class.
